MAURITIUS · AN INDIAN OCEAN AMBITIONArtist’s impressions and reference footage

01 / L’Archipel des Airs

A decade of imagination. A new horizon.

Conceived by Patrice Lebon more than ten years ago and subsequently set aside, this project is gathering fresh momentum. Its ambition is to bring experienced international crews to Mauritius and establish a gathering with a wider Indian Ocean future.

Mauritius is the proposed starting point for practical preparation. Sites, dates, funding and flight conditions will be developed with professionals and the competent authorities.

Colours at dawn

Red, blue, yellow and green meet blue, white and red. At dawn, an international fleet would turn the Mauritian sky into a meeting of colours. Proposed flights remain subject to conditions and authorisations.

THE SOUL OF THE CELEBRATION

The sky glows. The island dances.

To the rhythm of sega, skirts catch the breeze and faces catch the firelight. An evening to shape with Mauritian artists, in an area separate from flight operations.

HOSPITALITY, REIMAGINED

Moments that stay with you.

A toast above the lagoon, light catching the glasses, the joy of a shared moment. An adventure can also be a story for two.
